Admittance:
The Association, in harmony with FIDIC and EFCA Bylaws, grants membership to individuals and corporate firms who/which:
Derive their income crucially from consulting engineering activities, that is, intellectual services performed for their Clients, excluding the possibility of any other material interest whatever that might be as their professional judgement related to their assignments,
Are willing to comply with the conditions of free competition and to make efforts themselves at screening out any anomalies affecting the same,
Are under private and professional ownership, regarded as the guarantee of professional independence,
Believe that the recognition of high standard professional performance, the establishment of a professional fee scale conducive to Consultants' financial stability, as well as a selective recognition for average and excellent performance are of public interest,
Observe in free market competition the fee scales set by the Hungarian Chamber of Engineers and the Hungarian Chamber of Architects, refusing to engage themselves in unworthy and unethical price competition and to solicit assignments by setting prices below the minimum,
Advocate the independence of the profession, even if they risk by their attitude a temporary loss of assignments.
